PAPKO ROLL

Operation

This is a very effective machine with very high magnetic field intensity which is used for separation of ferrous compositions existing in minerals such as limonite , bentonite and moskowite that cannot be purified by usual magnets. In this machine, magnetic roller is used as the head pulley and a thin belt joins the roller to the back reel. This belt is made of Kevlar, with thickness of 0.5 to 1 mm. When material reaches to the magnetic field of the roller magnetic & paramagnetic particles will be attracted to the roller and then will be discharged under the roller. The tank which is used for material entrance is made of wear – resistant stainless steel while the non – magnetic material will follow the common discharge way.

Advantages

  • Very high magnetic field intensity ( 14000 -17000 gauss)
  • using Kevlar belt (thickness: 0.5 to 1 mm )
  • can be designed in 1 to 5 stages
  • equipped with inverter (remote control)
  • special design of the foundation for rapid replacement of the belt
  • compact design
  •  capability of effective attraction of fine paramagnetic and ferromagnetic particles (lower than 325 mesh)
  • its magnetic field does not need any electric power
  • can be designed in different lengths (from 30 cm to 150 cm)

Applications

  • Special minerals such as silica, feldspar, calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, aluminum
  • hydroxide , aluminum silicate
  • Attraction of minerals such as mica and ilmenite
  • Used for special abrasive material including aluminum oxide , silicon carbide and glass nuts
  • Used for separating PVC grains which include iron particles
  • food and pharmaceutical industries ( for separating iron particles existing in powdery material )
  • recycling ( for separating paramagnetic and magnetic particles from material )
  • glass industries
  •  incombustible
  • industries foundry electronic industries
