Introduction of the machine

Industrial metal detectors are capable of recognition and separation of metal pieces including ferrous and non – ferrous pieces from the conveyed material on a conveyor belt in order to protect the machinery and crushing equipment . In many industrial factories , although we can prevent entering many iron pieces by using magnetic separators, metal detectors are also used when crushing equipment are very sensitive and non – ferrous metals cannot be attracted by the magnet itself.

Design:

Metal detectors consist of a probe and a controlling unit which are connected to each other by a coaxial cable . Probes are located in a panel which is very robust and is manufactured for fitting with conveyor belt width, so it can be simply and easily installed on a conveyor belt. In a single probe model, a panel is located under the conveyor belt but in a tandem probe model which consists of two panels, one panel will be located under the belt and the other panel will be located over the belt by using spacers.
