Industrial metal detectors are used to protect crushing equipment and machinery, and have the ability to detect and separate metal parts, both ferrous and non-ferrous, from materials passing through the conveyor belt. In many industrial factories, although the use of magnetic separators can prevent the entry of a large portion of ferrous parts, industrial metal detectors are used when the crushing equipment is highly sensitive due to the lack of absorption of non-ferrous metals by magnets.
The metal detector consists of a detector (prob) and a control box (Amplifire), which are connected by a coaxial cable. The detector is compactly housed in a sturdy panel, which is made of a very strong material and is made to fit the width of the conveyor belt, so it is very quick and easy to install on the conveyor belt. The single detector model has one panel placed under the conveyor belt, while the two-way detector model has two panels, one under the belt and the other above the belt by means of a separator.
